Apple is reportedly planning to develop an iTunes based mobile payment service. The service as predicted would allow the millions of iTunes Store users to buy physical goods through their iTunes account using their iPhone.
In a recent press release, Apple announced that it is extending the iBooks Textbooks and iTunes U Course Manager Access worldwide to Asia, Latin America and Europe. These are the two major educational services on iOS devices and mainly used on the iPads. Textbooks is now available in 51 whereas iTunes U Course Manager in 70 countries worldwide.
iTunes Connect reopens a day earlier after Holiday Shutdown effective between December 22 and December 28. The iTunes Connect annual shutdown is aimed at giving the employees some time off during the year. The service is a platform for iOS and Mac developers to manage their apps.
Apple announced to developers bout the iTunes Connect annual shutdown for this year which is scheduled to be held from December 27 to December 31. During the shutdown, the Mac and iOS store developers will not be able to upload/manage apps.
Noam Lazebnik, a Breaking bad TV show fan from Ohio sued Apple for providing a false Season Pass for the show. The fifth and the last season of Breaking Bad is divided into two parts and Apple’s $22.99 season pass for iTunes was only effective for the first half although it is not meant to work that way. A proper action against this act by Apple has yet to be decided.
