Apple announces the new iPad aka the iPad Air and the new iPad Mini at their long-awaited iPad Event. Both the products will be available for purchase in November. They also released the new OS X Mavericks for free at the event with a lot more to still cover up.
Apple renames the new fifth-generation iPad as the iPad Air. The device comes with a powerful 64-bit A7 processor along with an improved 5-megapixel iSight camera and a FaceTime front camera with dual microphones. The device is much thinner and lighter as compared to its predecessor.
The iPad is priced at $499 and will be available in the stores in November. The iPad 2 price drops to $399. The new device will be available in space grey, black and white color.
The iPad Air comes with a powerful A7 microprocessor along with an M7 motion processor which is entitled to doubling the graphics and CPU performance over the previous release.
The new iPad Mini comes with the Retina display and is priced at $399. The price for the original iPad Mini drops to $299. The device is powered by Apple’s A7 processor like the iPhone 5S and will be several times powerful than its predecessor in graphics and overall CPU performance.
iPad Mini comes in silver, space grey, white and black color and will be made available in stores in late November.
The iPad Event is covering up a lot of stuff other than these new iPad and the iPad Mini, like preciously predicted and hinted by Apple in their tagline.
