Beats Music Streaming Service Coming To iOS

beats music coming to iosBeats Electronics confirms the the launch of Beats Music streaming service on the iOS devices in the next few months. The service will however be made available only for the US residents as for now.

The President and COO of the company made it clear that the service will be available on the iOS and android devices as well as on the web. Users will be able to stream high quality Beats-certified audio on their smartphones, tablets or even Macs.

While the Beats audio scheme is mainly considered a gimmick, it got a lot of positive user response and feedback. It all comes down to the fact that there isn’t much a difference between beats and normal audio.

The Beats products launched under the brand Beats by Dr. Dre became enormously famous among people. Even various smartphones and laptops come with beats audio which has replaced the old SRS and Waves audio speakers. Even skullcandy was not that lucky.

According to the President, the whole concept is as follows,

“We’re talking about real depth of personalization and knowing who I am, who you are, what we’re listening to, what we like, what we have listened to before and then offering up music that is highly relevant to our taste profile”.

“You need to start with a great editorial team that has a point of view, but we want to have a situation where we can really scale to the depth of your appetite”.

“If you really love music, we want something that can go deep with you for a really long time. And that requires a perfect harmony between the algorithm and human curation. Between the man and the machine.”

He’s basically describing the app as something that will “focus really heavily on playlists,” but also utilize a “a perfect harmony between the algorithm and human curation”. That definitely sounds interesting!

Online streaming services have a record of hitting really well on the new iOS platform. The iTunes Radio that came the last month got over 11 million unique listeners from all over the world.

The fate of Beats can however not be determined as yet. The developers and ideologists seem to be trying really hard on bringing something new and different. Like many other good services, this will also be first released in the US as confirmed.
