Apple Releases iOS 7.0.2 With Lock Screen Flaw Fix

iOS 7.0.2 Update

Apple has released iOS 7.0.2 for iPhone, iPod and iPad after one week of original iOS 7 release. This update fixes bugs that could allow someone to bypass the lock screen passcode. Another fix includes the reintroduction of a Geek keyboard option for passcode entry.

However, the bug that lets people to call from lock screen still exist.

The update is available over-the-air and requires WiFi connection. The update site is about 20MB.

Apple is refunding the customers who purchased Breaking Bad TV show, reports BBC. Previously, Apple had failed to deliver its final 16 episodes of Breaking Bad show.

Apple is sending email to the customers with an iTunes gift voucher allowing them to spend it in the iTunes.

The cable channel AMC split Breaking Bad’s fifth season into two parts in which each eight episode being shown a year. The second part of the season was made available on 11th of August.

Many people paid to see the closing series expecting it would include rest of all the episodes.

However, Apple again charged their customers for other eight episodes, The Final Season which led people to complain and one of the people took a legal action against Apple for being extra charged.

Apple refunded people with $29.99 gift voucher allowing them to watch all 16 episodes.

iOS 7 Bug Lets You Call From the Lock Screen


A newly discovered iOS 7 bug lets you to call any number from the lock screen through the emergency call feature.

The bug is accessed by tapping ‘Emergency’ call button on the iPhone’s lock screen. Dial any number and rapidly tap the call button until the Apple logo appears; same as when iPhone boots up.

The bug has been reported to Apple by Mashable.
